Bayazid was a small boy. His mother was ill. One night, Bayazid was studying by the side of the bed of his ailing mother. All of a sudden, his mother woke up, raised her head, and asked her son to give her a glass of water.
Bayazid went to the kitchen to bring water. He found the pitcher empty. So, he decided to fetch water from the nearby fountain He took the pitcher and went to the fountain for water. He came back home filling the pitcher to the brim.
By that time, his mother had fallen asleep again. He did not want to disturb his mother’s sleep. So, he remained standing beside his mother’s bed with a glass of water.
His mother woke up in the morning and found her son standing beside her bed with water in his hand. She embraced her son with deep love and prayed to Allah for her son. Later he became a great saint of Islam.
অনুবাদঃ-
বায়েজিদ ছিল এক ছোট্ট ছেলে। তার মা অসুস্থ ছিলেন। এক রাতে বায়েজিদ তার অসুস্থ মায়ের বিছানার পাশে বসে পড়াশোনা করছিল। হঠাৎ তার মা জেগে উঠলেন, মাথা তুলে তার ছেলেকে এক গ্লাস পানি দিতে বললেন।
বায়েজিদ পানি আনতে রান্নাঘরে গেল। সে দেখল কলসিটা খালি। তাই সে কাছের ঝর্ণা থেকে পানি আনার সিদ্ধান্ত নিল। সে কলসিটা নিয়ে পানি আনতে ঝর্ণার দিকে গেল। কলসিটা কানায় কানায় ভরে সে বাড়ি ফিরে এল।
ততক্ষণে তার মা আবার ঘুমিয়ে পড়েছিলেন। সে তার মায়ের ঘুম ভাঙাতে চায়নি। তাই সে এক গ্লাস পানি নিয়ে তার মায়ের বিছানার পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে রইল।
সকালে তার মা ঘুম থেকে উঠে দেখলেন তার ছেলে হাতে পানি নিয়ে তার বিছানার পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। তিনি গভীর ভালোবাসায় তার ছেলেকে জড়িয়ে ধরলেন এবং তার ছেলের জন্য আল্লাহর কাছে দোয়া করলেন। পরবর্তীকালে তিনি ইসলামের একজন মহান সাধক হয়েছিলেন।
