Electricity is returning to normal throughout the country including Dhaka

 Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources Affairs Ministry said that the electricity situation in the whole country including the capital Dhaka has started to normalize gradually.

On Tuesday at 9 pm, the Facebook page of the ministry informed - Mirpur, Moghbazar, Mothertech, Rampura, Gulshan, Ulon, Bashundhara, Dhanmondi, Aftabnagar, Banshree, Dhanmondi (partial), Adabar, Sher Bangla Nagar, Tejgaon, Mintoroad, Motijheel, Shyampur, Electricity has been restored in several areas including Pagla, Postgola, Siddhirganj.

Officials, engineers and technicians of all departments, organizations and companies of the electricity department are working tirelessly, the ministry said that the electricity supply will be completely normal soon.

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said on his Facebook page at around 11 pm on Tuesday, 'Dear customers, it has been possible to restore the grid in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Mymensingh regions by 9 pm. Earlier, in a post on his verified Facebook page, State Minister for Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak expressed hope that power supply would be normal in all areas of Dhaka and Chittagong by 9 pm.

Electricity department expressed regret, formed investigation committee

The Electricity Department has expressed regret over the unexpected power outage in the Eastern (Eastern) region of the National Grid. A committee has been formed to investigate this incident. Two more committees will be formed.
